descent.osi

seesaw

clad in a white haze of transience
watch the glorious niagara
falling simply to rise again
water descends but clouds ascend

fragrant agonies burn inside
the petals shrouded in the mist
a tear from heaven is the dew
water descends but clouds ascend

what pearls of sorrow in those eyes
to reach them i just want to sink
like a river into the sea
water descends but clouds ascend ..

  1. dear zoya--

this is one of your more poignant poems of late. Really enjoyed the meter or pentameter, more correctly?

yes, descent and ascent are yin and yang

    thank you, zoya~
