conquer .osi

' one '

surrender , to the rain
filling thirsty rivers ,
to the spark of a firefly
enlivening the night ,
a canorous bird call
alive in a symphony ,
imagine
a raven saying hello
dream
of a wild rose laughing
feel
the heat of a forest fire
embrace
a starry moment
from the timeless galaxies
that need to conquer nothing
nobody
but simply belong to me
as i belong to them ..

  3. Your poem could be my theme song. It is so beautiful! I feel these things whenever I am in the woods and fields. There isn't any better expression of God, is there?

  5. I love the way you've used the stillness of other'ness' to slow the mind and find the spirit!

  7. oh, WOW, zoya! This is exactly what I was groping for but could not quite get. You opened your arms wide and it just flowed out. Yes, yes. This is a poem to keep in front of me always.
