fork in the road-(osi)

'fragrance'

this seed of existence
forks out into roots
a survival logic
invents its options

thus a living quest
keeps branching upwards
the bifurcations lead
maybe to a dead end

or a destination
of the vibrant green leaf
a happy flower
springing from the earth

on the road to fragrance ..

  3. Exquisite! All the reaching those roots do holds the earth together on the road to becoming--almost nothing.

  4. I really like this. Was going to cut and paste a portion but then realised I like the whole bang shoot to much to choose.

  10. Your is a truly positive verse and very beautiful; the last is a stunner. "or a destination
    of the vibrant green leaf
    a happy flower
    springing from the earth."

  12. Dear zoya--
    You've done it again--
You are a masterful poet. I really liked this understanding of the prompt--of dead ends and vibrancy--nothing but the survival instinct to lead.

    Many, many thanks--
