reconciling
the within and without
sounds cliched
interior and exterior
more so!
so what!
introverted,reflective
shying away from crowds
an agoraphobic mind!
at crossroads with
a claustrophobic heart!
seeking the outdoors
open spaces!
between the inside
and outside of a world
the oxygen of what
we think and feel
inhale and exhale
is sometimes "stranded"! /original/z.g.
These lines capture an experience I know well, and I appreciate what you have accomplished here:

not knowing where to go, which direction to turn. Let alone left and right/ there is up and down. Stranded is confusion.

This is lovely. I love the lines that Sandy Carlson picked out. I know the feeling well. Beautifully done.
ReplyDeleteI tried to leave a comment yesterday so hope I have better luck today. I think the lines Sandy Carlson picks out just leap off the page. All your other oppositions are good but this one is the most powerful.
